North Yorkshire Issues Tenders

North Yorkshire County Council has issued tenders for an independent investment adviser and an investment consultant to its GBP1.2 billion pension fund. The three-year contracts of incumbent consultant Mercer and investment advisor Allenbridge Group are due to expire at the end of March, said Tom Morrison, principal accountant at the fund. The local authority expects Mercer and Allenbridge to re-bid for the positions. The defined benefit scheme invests 77% in equity and 23% in bonds.
